Bonders :: Composite Hot Bonder Benefits
Zimac Hot Bonder Benefits

ZIMAC Hot Bonder Technology Feature and Customer Values:

Sixteen Selectable Control Zones.....Allowing you to account for the nature of the composite structure and the complex heat sinks to enable you to achieve uniform target temperature with the best accuracy.

Cell Technology.....Enabling you to decide how to shape the heat as you require for large or small area heating with strip heaters on caul plates or with discrete heat cells or a combination. Enabling you to provide the most precisely located heat and uniformity without delays waiting for a new blanket delivery.

Blanket Technology.....Enabling you to use present stock or new blankets as required.

Up to Twenty Four Cell Outlets...Cells are used to inject heat as required to heat sinks or to shape the heat to fit a particular patch geometry.

Eight  Auxillary Outlets.....Here is where you hook up your blanket, heat lamps or multizone blankets. These items can be duty cycled by the hot bonder controller allowing you more felxibility.

CTC, MTC,ATC,HCTC.....The four thermocouple types provide total thermal mapping control feedback and safety. Control thermocouples (CTC) track the programmed ramp providing off and on power request. Auxilliary thermocouples (ATCs) provide a MaxOut point for a blanket. and can override the CTC. Heater Cell thermocouples (HCTCs) are hard wired into the cells like a permanent ATC. Finally monitoring thermocouples (MTCs) can monitor any other user defined locations. This strategy provides multi-feedback about the heat sinking and provides a high degree of safety in your hot bonder.

Alarms..... The alarm strategy set by the factory preferences or reset as desired by the user monitor vacuum, and temperature so defined. During the cure, alarms can be recalled for observation. They can be acknowledeged and filed.

Integrated vacuum.....The integrated vacuum in each cell saves time in locating and attaching the cells for easy set up and out of bag heat sources. This enables a single set up for primer/silane/cure cycles for metal doublers and for shaping the heat on composites.

Automatic Reporting.....The hot bonder cure report  and graph is an automatic html file that delivers all TC measurements, vacuum, RH%, Cell vacuum, Cell temperatures, ATC, MTC and CTC data against the cure time and targets. A separate and equivalent spread sheet report (Excel) is also provided that enables analysis, specific customer requested graphs, max, minimum, average and frequency data as stipulated by the user or customer.
